Review of 80s, 90s & 00s Silent Disco @ The Great Hall, Reading

Hi, thanks for asking. What we missed was that there was no interaction from the DJ with the crowd, no welcome, no are you enjoying yourself, no last song and goodnight. More disco lights would have been better. But yes, I would still go again to one of your discos. Makes for an entertaining evening!

Really great night at Reading University Great Hall. Music across three channels was varied. My only thought was a bit of thought into the last three minutes of the night - it ended really abruptly ! No notice, or build up. If you had scheduled a final song across all three channels the atmosphere would have raised the roof! 

Drinks were heavily over priced ! £8.50 for a can of lager, £6.50 for a slim can of wine or gin ! Was seriously off putting. However, as a fun activity that was well attended in a great location, good staffing, I would recommend and probably return to.

Definitely for mid age ladies which wasn't what we were expecting as in our 30s but still a really good evening!

Excellent as always. 
However, at this particular concert everyone in my party thought the drums were too loud and unfortunately on a couple of pieces of music completely overpowered the singer, which was a shame as she had an amazing voice.
The venue is stunning and really complements the music being played.
We will definitely be returning.

Review of Ultimate Film Music: A Tribute to Zimmer, Williams & More

An amazing night with a fabulous orchestra and soprano.  Particularly loved the Harry Potter medley and the Gladiator theme.

1st time at the venue and was pleasantly surprised both with the wonderful hall and the sound & professionalism of the orchestra. Would highly recommend .

Reading

The Great Hall is located at the University of Reading&#39;s historic London Road campus, the original home of the University in the heart of Reading.

A Grade 2 listed building which was opened in 1905, the Great Hall has a fixed stage with a magnificent organ and grand piano, ample space for a choir and orchestra, and can seat audiences of 350 to 500.

We can offer a bar service in the building for pre and interval drinks. This venue is suitable to hire for both concerts and music rehearsals
