Superb homecoming show from Marisa and the Moths! Their energy onstage is fantastic and the gig felt like a party with their older members making guest appearances throughout the set. Also great to hear some new music.

Next time they play in Reading i hope they will play at a proper venue i.e. Sub89.

Marisa and the Moths are not to be missed what an amazing gig and fantastic music and such a great atmosphere. Purple Turtle was a great venue and had a good mix of outdoor space, bar area, indoor seating and dance / gig area.

Extremely talented musicians with catchy songs which are the perfect blend of heavy beats, guitars, amazing melodies and emotive lyrics. You you have the chance to see them - DO!!! They are going to be big.

Marisa And The Moths are always awesome and this was a two hour + set of the kind they have been delivering regularly as livestreams since the first lockdown. The set was a mix of their own brilliant material and various cover-songs, which are familiar to their livestream viewers. The big surprise tonight though, was a cover of The Pogue's 'Fairytale Of New York', with the hilarious addition of a kazoo in some parts of the song. This was a great opportunity to see the band creating the livestream experience in a venue.
