Since the doors flung open to the cavernous rave den underneath Central Station back in 1991, Glasgow's The Arches has gone on to become one of Europe's leading cultural venues, hosting some of the UK's biggest club nights, a wide ranging selection of live gigs, and even experimental theatre, performance and visual art.

But it's the clubnights that we're homing in on today, as the coming weeks see The Arches host a run of blistering parties. Techno maestro Richie Hawtin kicks things off on the 1st May, curating an essential M-nus Records showcase for Pressure. Marc Houle and Fabio Florido join him, whilst Rodhad brings label mate Alex.Do and Glasgow's finest techno duo Slam to room two.

Next up is an appearance from the city's formidable big room dance music experts Colours. Saturday May 2nd sees them welcome Bingo Players, Carnage and Timmy Trumpet, with an eagerly awaited appearance from Ultra Music favourite Headhunterz.

Bass, garage and house starlet Hannah Wants brings her undisputed DJing mastery to the venue on May 16th (see her in action at Creamfields above) alongside DJ Barely Legal and fellow Birmingham bass head Tom Shorterz.

Saturday May 23rd welcomes Sasha and his Last Night On Earth brand for its Arches debut. The boundary smashing pioneer of house, techno and everything in between will be flanked by the unique stylings of Henry Saiz and Kate Simko.
