Tickets on Sale: Yousef presents Circus in Liverpool and London

We’ve now got tickets on sale for both parties put out by the indomitable Circus this month, taking place in London and Liverpool at Egg London and East Village Arts Club respectively. The clubnight is now in it's twelfth year, and the musical embodiment of Yousef shows no signs of abating any time soon with a consistent litany of sell out shows (last month's Halloween double bill epitomised this, as the video recorded by Defected below showcases). November has a tandem of soirees that continue their undeniable pedigree.

London

The first sees Yousef return to Egg London once again, this time bringing with him two of the finest female ambassadors for house and techno in Nicole Moudaber and Monika Kruse. Moudaber's love of visceral techno first developed when studying in London in the nineties, making this a homecoming of sorts for her. Expect a storming selection of bass heavy techno to be centre stage when she hits the club.

A similair output can be expected from German destroyer Kruse (who we recently interviewed here). The Panoramabar resident has been a feted presence on the European house and techno circuit for the last three decades, her connoisseur's grasp on electronic music making her the perfect presence to accompany Yousef and Moudaber's electronic voyage into the night.

Liverpool

One day later and it’s at the Arts Club where Circus once again shines, the spiritual home bolstered by a headline turn from Drumcode dynamo Adam Beyer. The Swedish jock has had an emphatic 2013, his mandate of relentless techno being lapped up across the globe and having witnessed the likes of Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Ricardo Vilalobos destroy the theatre in the past, we’ve got a soft spot for when Circus brings the techno pressure.

James Zabiela also returns to the city, the tousled haired wizard bringing his unstoppable deck prowess and technical acumen back to Liverpool, with further support coming in the form of Huxley’s garage reared house grooves (we caught up with him about the show here), Midland and his bass drenched fusion of house and techno, Born Electric (Zabiela's label) signing Pedram and Circus residents Scott Lewis and Lewis Boardman. Head here for further details.
