So saddle up, folks, and get ready for a wild ride! If you want Texas to be your destination for this year's musical escapades, then look no further than this list. Scroll down and start planning!

If you classify yourself as a music nut and haven't heard of South by Southwest (SXSW), it's probably time to admit that you've got some work to do. This massive, multi-genre festival takes over Austin every March, bringing together thousands of people from all over the world for a week-long celebration of music, film, and technology.

With a stacked and diverse lineup that includes everything from indie rock to hip-hop, pop to punk, and country to EDM, SXSW has something for every single person in attendance to sink their teeth into. It's like a musical buffet where you can sample a little bit of everything.

Austin City Limits

When: Friday 6th - Sunday 15th October 2023

Where: Zilker Metropolitan Park, Austin, Texas

If you're more of a purveyor of the music of the alternative variety, then Austin City Limits (ACL) is the Texan festival for you. Held every fall in Austin's glorious Zilker Park, this three-day extravaganza has been drawing in monumental crowds and even bigger names on stage since 2002. With eight stages and over 130 acts, ACL is pretty much the biggest and most prestigious festival in the whole of the lone star state.

But what sets ACL apart from other festivals is its focus on quality over quantity. Instead of booking dozens of acts in the hopes of pleasing everyone, ACL carefully curates its lineup to showcase the best of the best. 2022 saw the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, SZA, Paramore, Lil Nas X, Death Cab For Cutie, and even P!NK grace its stage. Basically, even though the lineup hasn't been announced yet, we are all but certain it will be containing some of the artists in your Spotify wrapped.

In addition to the music, ACL also features a variety of food vendors, art installations, and a market, plus, if you're feeling adventurous, you can even take a dip in the nearby Barton Springs Pool to cool off between sets.

Don't miss out on the rockin' good time at ACL 2023. Grab your tickets now and get ready to party!
