Stacked indie support announced for The Maccabees On The Beach Brighton

On The Beach has today revealed the full lineup joining The Maccabees on Saturday 25th July 2026, in collaboration with Radio X, and it looks set to be an absolutely massive day on Brighton seafront. 

The announcement brings together a broad cross-section of British indie, from the ever-evolving sound of Editors to Miles Kane’s latest era, alongside standout live performances from Anna Calvi, Ash and Badly Drawn Boy, while Brighton’s own Lime Garden represent the next wave of the city’s scene.

With over 70% of tickets already sold, a final ticket release will be made available via priority pre-sale on Tuesday 31st March at 11am. Sign up now at the bottom of this page!

On the announcement, The Maccabees said: “When we were first starting out in Brighton, we did not imagine that 20 years on we would be headlining Brighton Beach. It is a very special thing for us to be doing this show outdoors on Brighton Beach, and we intend to make this the best Maccabees show ever.

"Even better than the one at Concorde 2 that got us banned because fans were hanging from the ceiling. You will do well to hang from the ceiling at Brighton Beach.”

Now in its sixth year, On The Beach has become a staple of Brighton’s summer calendar, hosting sold-out shows from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Bicep, Eric Prydz, Underworld and The Libertines, cementing its place as one of the UK’s standout coastal festivals.
