New venue Brickworks opens under Manchester's Barton Arcade

A brand new 8000sq ft underground event space called Brickworks has opened under the Grade II-listed Barton Arcade in Manchester.

The two-roomed club will be programmed by the dedicated team behind Joshua Brooks, one of the city's leading venues. The official launch will take place on Friday 30th November with enchanting techno starlet Deborah De Luca.

Brickworks, which was previously a private members' club, boasts vaulted ceilings, archways and exposed bricks throughout and also has its own private cinema.

Other confirmed events include Gin & Disco with The Shapeshifters and HiFi Sean on Saturday 1st December, plus the Mason Collective crew's Adidas and Footasylum party on Thursday 13th December.

The venue will also host Covert's Christmas party on Saturday 22nd December with George Smeddles and Cloonee.
