From the expert team behind Lancaster's number one open-air music festival comes a brand new three day extravaganza - Leighton Live.

Residing over the idyllic grounds of the Leighton Hall Estate in Carnforth, the weekend event has been drawn up to help celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, taking place from Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th June 2022.

Kick starting the party with a bang, UK reggae icons, UB40, featuring original frontman Ali Campbell, will open proceedings with an assortment of their most treasured hits - from ‘Red Red Wine’ and ‘I Got You Babe’, to ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You’ and Lord Creator cover, ‘Kingston Town’. Catch them alongside leading reggae, dancehall and jungle soundsystem crew, Reggae Roast performing live in front of the striking Grade II listed gothic house.

The following day sees one of the biggest brands in dance music taking over the festival stage - Ministry Of Sound. Delivering those in attendance with an all-new live concept for 2022, the sensational fifteen-piece Ministry of Sound Soul & Funk Band will play a score of celebrated disco and house tracks. Dust off those dodgy moves and prepare to move your body to some of the greatest dance music ever recorded, including reworked tracks from the likes of Stardust, Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, CHIC and more.

Support on Saturday 4th June comes from legendary disco group, Sister Sledge. Returning to the green landscapes of Lancashire once more, following their amazing performance at Highest Point back in 2019, the trio will have fans 'Lost In Music', whilst Hacienda favourite Graeme Park and Manchester's Funkademia crew lend further support in the build up.

Closing out the debut edition of Leighton Live on Sunday 5th June, one of the UK's top symphonic orchestras, The Halle Orchestra will bring their Last Night Of The Proms show to the four thousand acre estate. Joined on stage by conductor Stephen Bell with very special guest soprano, Laura Wright, this final musical spectacle will be topped only by the huge firework display set to illuminate the entire festival site.
