This week's eleventh-hour roundup features the likes of Gorgon City, presenting their very own live concept, Realm at Liverpool's Blackstone Street Warehouse, trance legend Paul van Dyk, taking the BPM up a notch at Printworks London, and drum n bass icon, Friction, launching his brand new album, After Dark at Electric Brixton.

Gorgon City presents Realm

When: Saturday 8th October 2022

Where: Blackstone Street Warehouse in Liverpool

London-based production duo, Gorgon City will bring their very own club concept to Liverpool's North Docks this weekend. Joining the internationally acclaimed twosome, made up of members Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott, are some of the electronic scenes' most current and sought-after acts. Recent chart-toppers, LF System will have the crowds moving to their summer smash anthem 'Afraid to Feel', whilst genre-switching legend, Paul Woolford, Brazilian beat master, Vintage Culture, dance music devote, Salome le Chat and FEMMEHOUSE creator, LP Giobbi, also supply the vibes.

Paul van Dyk presents SHINE

Where: Printworks London in London

A name synonymous with trance music, Paul van Dyk should be no stranger to dance buffs, regardless of their age. The Grammy-nominated pioneer is considered an OG superstar in the domain of electronic music, boasting a career that has incredibly spanned more than 4 decades, taking him to clubbing destinations across the world. 

Bringing a special edition of his SHINE party to the English capital this evening, the German native will deliver a first-class set of hypnotic, high-tempo anthems - from 'In Your Arms' to 'Forbidden Fruit' and 'Tell Me Why' - with assistance from Dutch trance veterans, Ferry Corsten and Aly & Fila.

Friction presents After Dark

Where: Electric Brixton in London

Head honcho of iconic drum n bass labels, Shogun Audio and Elevate, Ed Keeley AKA Friction will be making the final preparations in the lead up to tonight's unveiling of his latest studio album, After Dark

Following on from his latest London E1 showcase, which saw the enduring artist tease out new material from the 14-track record, the esteemed DJ returns to the capital once more, marking the launch of the hotly-anticipated full-length release with his biggest ever London show at the inimitable Electric Brixton.

Admired selectors Luude, Pola & Bryson, Flowidus, Lens, CK3 with emcee's AD, Dogs and Linguistics will also lend their expertise to the party, ensuring the celebration goes off properly.

TANK presents Danza ft. Ben Hemsley & more

When: Friday 7th October 2022

Where: Tank Nightclub in Sheffield

Lionized selector and master of infectious grooves, Ben Hemsley takes over Sheffield night club, TANK this evening. The widley endorsed talent, whose been shutting down stages and tents at festivals across the UK throughout the summer, has experienced a meteoric rise this year, largely with thanks to the release a score of masssive dancefloor weapons and some masterfully curated live sets. 

Joining him behind the decks, rave-revellers can expect to dance from 10:30 pm until 5 am the following day to the sounds of equally talented names the likes of Elliot Adamson, Hannah Laing, Charlotte Ord and more.

Cirque Du Soul: Birmingham

When: Friday 7th October 2022

Where: The Mill in Birmingham

The circus rolls into Birmingham tonight, as surreal party collective Cirque Du Soul arrive at Digeth-based event space, The Mill. 

The UKs biggest, baddest and most colourful rave bonanza will commandeer multiple rooms and hideouts tucked away inside the venue with the sounds of bass, house, UKG, hip hop and disco resounding throughout. DJs perfroming at the event include Leeds-based selector, Freddie Baker (Bakey), Cirque Du Soul residents, The Weaver Bros, Holl3 and DJ Tayo, to name a few.

Expect a mythically themed wonderland bustling with immersive circus perfomers and production, confetti cannons and CO2 jets, with free giveaways running through the night. A party you simply cannot afford to miss.
