Groovebox gear up for huge run of Sheffield shows to round out the summer

The Groovebox team will deliver four late-summer parties, bringing a host of acclaimed house and tech house artists to Sheffield across August and September.

Sheffield's electronic music calendar is showing no signs of slowing down as we head towards the final months of summer, with Groovebox preparing to take over popular venue, the Steel Yard for a packed run of events featuring some of the biggest names in house and tech house.

Across August and into September, Groovebox will host four epic events at the Neepsend venue, welcoming a mix of established favourites and fast-rising talent.

The series kicks off on Saturday 1st August with Irish duo OBSKÜR, who headline an all-day rave alongside Tommy Phillips, Lewis Taylor, Ellis Garner and H3. Known for their energetic tech house sound, the pair arrive in Sheffield following another huge year on the international circuit.

Three weeks later, on Saturday 22nd August, Liverpool favourite SOSA takes over Steel Yard for a special extended set. Expect an in-depth journey through the DJ's signature grooves, backed by support from Kidoo, Stef Davidse B2B Hidde Van Wee, Capron and Deltech.

Over the August bank holiday weekend, on Sunday 30th, Groovebox team up with Bounded Festival to present house heavyweight Bullet Tooth, who tops a lineup packed with underground talent, including Julian Anthony, Boss Priester, Jhobei, Taylor, and H3.

The run concludes on Saturday 26th September, with Groovebox welcoming Heavy House Society founder Sidney Charles alongside Dutch house favourite Luuk van Dijk for an all-day closing party.

With four events in quick succession, Groovebox is turning Steel Yard Sheffield into one of Northern England’s go-to destinations for dance music through the late summer.
