Gorillaz release new single The God of Lying with IDLES

Gorillaz have released the third single from their upcoming album The Mountain, which will be released on March 20th 2026. The new track is titled 'The God of Lying' and features Joe Talbot of IDLES.

Following the release of 'The Happy Dictator' featuring Sparks and 'The Manifesto' with Trueno and Proof, 'The God of Lying' is another collaboration for Gorillaz. This time, Joe Talbot enters the realms of their new record, with his typically booming vocal style taking centre stage.

This isn't the final feature on the latest Gorillaz album either, with the likes of Kara Jackson, Johnny Marr, Omar Souleyman and more getting involved. You can find out more about the release here.
