Bristol alt-pop duo Getdown Services have unleashed their latest track ‘Don’t Cheese Me Off’, showcasing the pair’s trademark blend of wit, energy and musical mischief, as they gear up for a fully sold-out UK tour through November.
Since forming, friends Josh Law and Ben Sadler have made a habit of upending expectations with their playful, punk-inflected pop that smashes together quirky lyrical hooks and infectiously melodic beats. Their new single lands just in time for a tide of live dates that includes double hometown shows at Bristol’s Trinity Centre, each already sold out, strong evidence of their cult-status among UK audiences.
‘Don’t Cheese Me Off’ also arrives ahead of their fresh collection Crumbs 2, a compilation of demos, B-sides and rarities that gives fans a deeper dive into their creative world. With the new release, the band tap into that sweet-spot where mischief meets musical craft — expect big hooks, off-kilter humour and the kind of songs you’ll find yourself humming long after the track ends.
