Defected Records are holding a huge party in Manchester on New Year's Day, Tuesday 1st January 2019. The event will take place at the city's Victoria Warehouse venue.
Whether it's the main event for you or an after party from the night before, it's sure to be a memorable party taking in the best of house music from the last 12 months and more. Headliners at the event include German house DJ Claptone, New York legend Todd Terry, the funk phenomena that is Purple Disco Machine, label favourite Sam Divine, bass house hero Low Steppa plus Amine Edge & DANCE.
Defected's own Simon Dunmore and Jess Bays complete the line up, with at least one as-yet-unannounced special guest also set to appear.
In 2019 Defected will celebrate their 20th anniversary. Founded by Simon Dunmore, the label has grown substantially in its two decades and has become one of the biggest independent labels in the world specialising in house music.
Its mixed compilations are among the highest sellers in the genre and the label has in recent years grown into a brand strong enough to host sell out parties across Europe. Defected have held residencies in London and on Ibiza and now host an annual five day festival in Croatia.
