Keep It Unreal NYE: Mr. Scruff + MC Kwasi

Where: Band On The Wall in Manchester

Mr. Scruff has reignited his 'Keep It Unreal' event series, confirming what's set to be a memorable year-end performance at Manchester's Band On The Wall alongside his right-hand man, MC Kwasi.

A homegrown authority on mixing, an eclectic selector, admired producer and a gifted cartoonist (see poster above), Mr. Scruff is a name many will already be familiar with. Signed to Ninja Tune Records back in 1998, the expert turntablist has gigged across the world, taking his multi-million-stream achieving back catalogue of works to audiences far and wide. A master in the studio, he's also teamed up with a long list of other iconic acts - from Quantic and Andreya Triana to Roots Manuva.

Catch the Mancunian DJ extraordinaire slipping in and out of jazz, soul, hip hop, funk, disco, deep house, reggae, afrobeat, electro, techno, new wave and more, over a six-hour session this New Year's Eve.

Bedrock: NYE with John Digweed

Where: Joshua Brooks in Manchester

DJs MCMA and Four Candles join internationally-acclaimed dance legend and Bedrock founder, John Digweed at Joshua Brooks this New Year's Eve for a proper good old-fashioned rave to see out 2022. 

For those unaware of Digweed's prestige, here's an artist that's basically done it all. From being voted the world's best DJ in a voters poll run by DJ Magazine, back in 2001, and being the first DJ to gain a residency at New York's iconic Twilo nightclub, to launching his own massively successful label, promotions company and studio production partnership (AKA Bedrock), he's a DJ with seemingly limitless talents.

Where: The Loft MCR in Manchester
