Blackpool Rocks heads to Blackpool Tower

Blackpool Rocks will be moving to a new home, taking place in the seaside town's most recognisable landmark, Blackpool Tower, as it celebrates its 120th year of existence.

The festival, which is organised by BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, takes place at the venue from 8pm on Saturday 20th December. Last year's inaugural event saw the likes of Disclosure, Pete Tong and Hannah Wants join Howard, who said the following about the event:

“What better place is there to party in Blackpool than the tower itself! It’s an icon… everyone knows it and from the beauty of the Ballroom, to the quirky space that is the Circus, this is going to be one unforgettable night of entertainment with some of the hottest talent on the UK music scene.” Witness what happened last year below.

On the evening there will be a full 10 rooms of the venue utilised, with both the Ballroom and the Circus at the forefront of the experience, with the first name released on the line up on Wednesday 10th of September at 6pm.

Tickets go on sale with us at 9am on Friday 12th September, with the price incrementally increasing over the upcoming weeks to reward the early purchasers.
