Review of Institute - Euphoric Anthems

Brilliant music in a brilliant venue -lovely bar staff and security people

Had a great night dancing to classic trance, but every time we attend an event at Area we always wish the music was louder - you can hear people talking over the music so it makes it harder to get lost in the music and feel it in your bones while you dance. We have special ear plugs to protect our ears but didn't even need them, as the sound only reached 90dB a few times throughout the night - some hand dryers are louder!
Door staff were lovely - special thanks to the female one that swiftly dealt with people dancing on the seats in the booth while people were sat resting. Bar staff were all friendly too, & toilets were ok as I didn't need to queue once all night, but once the toilet roll holders were emptied they weren't refilled & ladies had to hunt down which cubicle had a spare roll in so we could all share some.

Pros: Ace event.
Cons: People on phones instead of living in the moment.  Too many immature airheads with zero spatial awareness and  a sense of self entitlement. 

Sound was a bit rubbish very low a kitchen party woulda been louder, djs were amazing ,just needed it louder 

Over promised and under delivered. This could have been an amazing event. The music was not great, the performances were tame. The downstairs area was not laid out properly. What a missed opportunity

Review of CirXcus Manchester

Good venue. Well laid out. Friendly staff. Different prices for the same drinks from different staff which was a bit odd. ?"  was expecting a more circus look or feel from the advertising.
