Review of Back to 95 15th Birthday

Review of House of Silk -Spring Sessions & DJ S Birthday

I was looking forward to this event so much, as I love old school music and the line up of dj's/performers was amazing. I went to 51st State Festival last year & they had a Back to 95 tent, which was absolutely great. This event however, was NOT. 

Where to start... The venue was an odd layout, the arches provided the different 'rooms', but didn't provide very good acoustics for the music. 

The service at the bar was soooo slow and they only accepted cash, which would have been useful to know before making my way to the rave, as opposed to letting me know on the way in. 
It really was back to 95 because everybody & their mum was smoking inside, which left my eyes red & my clothes & hair reeking of cigarette/weed smoke when I left. 
The toilets were an absolute DISGRACE!!! I've been to lots of outdoor festivals & never seen porta-loos look that disgusting. The lights weren't working inside, and there were puddles of urine everywhere, as the toilets were all blocked. 

The whole vibe of the place was just completely off, it honestly didn't seem like anybody was really enjoying themselves- such a disappointment.  

Review of Backto95 Legends Of The Oldskool 

Great night.. I'm into old skool garage but at this even it was the jungle that had me lively great vibe great night

Absolutely amazing, I'm a regular oldskool raver n find tunes wise that they are mostly not on point from start to finish. Back2 95 well my girls n I were da last gals standing, djs in all arches were off the chain, tunes took everyone Back2 95 Bammmmm 

Right firstly 👏👏 back 95 was *****ing great i enjoyed it better this time than march the rave was off the hook but i will say that am pissed i paid for my ticket and had to stand in a bar que for 1:45 mins to get a drink thats a joke the girls were rude and litterally did deal with the first part of the bar in the white room they only dealt with the end even security tried to a worda with them and still wasnt good enough so for that reason i will mark down i only gave 4 and 3 would of been a 5 all the way so i think for future rave in gss in the white room you need more bar staff if its in here again i wont be going but other than that top marks big shout out to the host of back 95 its a long time i been coming to 95 raves .

My only complaint was no credit card machine, it's rare for people to carry cash these days.

First time being to this venue, I kind of knew what to expect beforehand (so heels were left at home!). Line went pretty quick, queued for about 20 minutes, security were friendly and polite. The atmosphere was soooo good, everyone was friendly, happy, such great vibes. That would have a lot do with the mature crowd and those that can appreciate the music. 

Tunes were banging - Matt Jam and Norris smashed it for me! Didn't have an issue with queuing for the loos and got served pretty quick at the bar, really good having that one outside too! Think I would prefer a different venue but the same good vibes with the same security team and somewhere with air conditioning! Thanks as always though, had a really great night!
