n a Liverpool back street, the craft beer revolution has inspired a new bar brewing its own beers that you won’t find anywhere else. Black Lodge Brewery, in Kitchen Street, is a craft beer bar in the increasingly popular Baltic Triangle area, which now boasts several eating and drinking venues and is a hive of construction work. There’s a little brewery at the back of the room, from which the Black Lodge team and guests will create unique beers for sale only at the bar across the room. Black Lodge has been created by some of the people behind Baltic Triangle staple Camp & Furnace, brewer Liverpool Craft Beer Co and Hope Street craft beer hotspot The 23 Club. They say: “Elemental brewing flows through the business – using local ingredients allows the brewery to be agile and experimental; developing beers that are influenced by the seasons to satisfy inquisitive palettes. International collaborators will add to the ever-changing lineup of brews – so finding a favourite will become a ritual for hop-heads.”
