Review of Loz Speyer’s Inner Space
A lovely gig by a very fine band, Loz Speyer's Inner space. As for the venue, the sound in the room was amongst the best I have encountered - and I go to a lot of gigs. Only down-side - the size of the audience - far too small for a band of this calibre.

Review of Afternoon Double Bill
The double bill was the Alex Bonney Quartet and Samuel Eagles' Spirit. Both bands were excellent and it proved to be an entertaining Sunday afternoon. The Ram Jam Club has been refurbished since I was last there and it was a good venue. The atmosphere was slightly affected by a small audience but that did not spoil the listening.
Apart from the assessment above I should say that a friend of mine and myself have tried to book for an event at the Ram Jam Club later this month organised by ID. This could not be found on either the Skiddle or Ram Jam Club websites so it obviously makes it more difficult to book.

Review of Andrew Bain Quartet
One of the very rare quartets where you felt every musician contributed equally, and to a very high standard. Quite unusual contemporary music that took a number or two to get into but then they flew. Super evening - embellished by an enthusiastic audience. Just love the Ram Jam!

Review of Penelope Dreaming with Nette Robinson
This was a very unusual evening of jazz with a saxophonist/keyboarder player, a great vocalist and extraordinary percussionist playing to a sequence of poems. Perhaps a little long - uninterrupted for 45 minutes plus - but great listening. Would see them again.
