Review of New Year's Eve Comedy Special

Horrendous organisation.  Tickets were oversold and I was turned away despite booking tickets 3 weeks in advance.  Missed the show and on New Year when we'd made the journey into Birmingham, it was an expensive and disappointing evening.  Would not recommend. Ever. 

Review of New Year\'s Eve Comedy and Party

After queuing for the best part of an hour to get in and then half an hour for drinks we weren't in the best mood for some comedy. The host was unfunny and his attitude wasn't pleasant which made it worse. The place was too overcrowded. The comedians we did see were very funny however. We left at the interval because the host didn't tell us how long the interval was going to be. I've never known an interval at a comedy club and it's obviously just to get you to buy more drinks. At that bar,  no thanks! If the comedians weren't so good it would have been a total waste of time and money. We were only in Birmingham for the night bit I'd say try another comedy club before this one.

only one person checking tickets for hundreds of people,  not good, I felt sorry for staff who were all really nice,  the comedians started late and finished well early,  felt a bit cheated 

The comedians we saw were great. Unfortunately, the event had been well oversold so we missed the missed act due to still queuing whilst the staff were trying to find seats from other bars for us to sit on.
The staff handled the situation very well, despite a lot of pressure, and we were issued a full refund.
