Saturday 3rd December will be overwhelmingly bittersweet for Uber, as the Carlisle-based clubbing authority celebrates its milestone 10th birthday whilst saying goodbye to the loyal following of ravers that have danced the night away to soundtracks provided by house and techno's leading names over the course of those years.

Since its beginnings, Uber has welcomed almost anyone who's anyone in the world of dance music to a city which without the clubnight, may have never have got the chance to experience it all. Laurent Garnier, Green Velvet, Sasha, Calvin Harris, Pete Tong and many more have wowed in Carlisle over the years, and now a suitably impressive line up has been secured for the finale.

Chart-conquering duo Basement Jaxx are set to headline with a DJ set, whilst VIVa MUSiC boss Steve Lawler is also confirmed to bring the heat at The Venue. Uber regular Danny Rampling returns, supported by Uber's longstanding resident Ki Creighton. Check out a recent set of Ki's above.

Uber founder Matthew Tyson said: “It’s going to be such an emotional night, but most importantly, it’s going to be an amazing party. Each one of these acts is exactly what we’re about musically, and we know that our whole crowd, old and new, will go mad for it. I’d now like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported Uber for 10 fantastic years. The resident DJs, the tech team, the PR team, the ticketsellers and most importantly, the dance floor… this party really is for you.”
