Boasting the impressive title of the UK’s biggest Halloween party, Together pulled out all the stops as the global music brand hosted some of the world’s biggest names in bass this Friday 28th October Halloween weekend.

Topping the hit list at Southeast London’s renowned O2 Academy Brixton was drum and bass duo Sigma, titan producer Sub Focus, a DJ set from heavy electro royalty Pendulum and a world exclusive live show from the iconic High Contrast.

As a completely sold out event, it was unsurprising on our arrival that the queue winding around the venue was huge and teaming with excited revellers. After stumbling our way through the expansive site on entry, passing frightfully dressed characters and grabbing a can or two of cider we decided to make our way to the main stage for the big event.

Completely packed, humid and hot we swerved our way into the frantic crowds to embrace chart-toppers Sigma who spun their fans into a mangled frenzy as they dropped the likes of Chase & Status’s ‘No problem’, Major Lazer’s famed ‘Lean On’ and their very own ultimate dance hit ‘Nobody To Love’. Teamed with dazzling visuals and smoke effects, it was a thrilling energy-fueled performance that started our night off on a high.

Next up was famed DJ and producer High Contrast, who impressed the throngs with his heavy drum and bass beats, including a unique remix of Adele’s melancholic hit ‘Hello’ causing the energetic crowds to sing along, everyone seemingly knowing all the words.

After a break from the main room to cool down a tad, we made our way back to catch the unmissable Pendulum, the act we had been most anticipating seeing. Hosting a spectacular show of laser beams, flashing lights and thumping drops the Australian band wowed the crowds with the likes of their hit dance track ‘Watercolour’ and the famed raga-infused success ‘Tarantula’.

Exhausted, we made our way out the venue, managing to catch Sub Focus pleasing the crowds with his hit ‘Tidal Wave’, making for a climatic finish to a fantastic bass-fuelled night of spooky revelry.
