Citing the likes of Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell as fans amongst fellow drum 'n' bass industry leaders Andy C, Hype and Pendulum; you know you're in for something special, which is exactly what Saul Milton and Will Kennard have achieved under the Chase & Status moniker. With regular support and tireless championing form the likes of Skream, Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Chase and Status are firmly at the forefront of the modern drum n bass revolution, with each passing release cementing their importance to the world of bass music.
Now perhaps the biggest artists to have crossed over in to the mainstream from drum n bass since Pendulum, Chase and Status have carved for themselves a distinctive sound that maintains credibility whilst hauling in record numbers of sales.
After a chance meeting at university in Manchester in the mid nineties, the two bonded over their shared love of drum n bass, taking up DJing to which they continue with passionately until today. It took until 2004 before they finally turned to producing, with a remix for Future Cut of Lily Allen fame.
