The spookiest and most terrifying day of the year, Halloween looms ever closer as the seasons continue to shift and the long, cold nights roll in.

A hair-raising experience for your mischievous little monsters, it's an equally fear-inspiring time for all you parents and guardians out there, battling to keep your sanity intact over the coinciding half-term school break. Spookfest 2021

When: Thursday 28th October 2021

Where: Revolution Bar in Blackpool

Live on the coast of Northwest England? In need of something to keep the kids entertained in the lead up to the creepiest holiday of them all? As if by magic! A family-friendly, pre-Halloween party that's tailored to your every requirement - Spookfest 2021.

FUN DMC - Halloween 

When: Sunday 31st October 2021

Where: Colours Hoxton in London

A Halloween-themed, daytime block party is coming to the capital on Sunday 31st October...

The first-ever FUN DMC arrives at one of London's newest multi-purpose event spaces, Colours Hoxton, providing a party for those either too young or old to go raving in the clubs. Join DJ Spin Doctor and the FUN DMC selectors as they take you and your mini beasties and ghouls on a journey through music from eras gone by.

Kick back in the bar, grab a drink, get a bite to eat, and reminisce to the iconic records of your youth whilst your kids get involved with harrowing Halloween games and dance-off competitions. There'll also be frightening face-painting and a prize for the best fancy dress costumes for both kids and adults. No excuses grown-ups.

The Little Monster Mash - Kids Halloween Rave

When: Saturday 30th October 2021

Where: Uppermill Civic Hall in Oldham

The spookiest of Halloween decor, a monstrous dancefloor illuminated by an amazing arrangement of lights and lasers, confetti cannons, face painting and much more awaits your devilish little gremlins at Oldham's Upper Civic Hall on Saturday 30th October.

Muster your family of misfits, put on your best and most horrifying fancy dress and head to The Little Monster Mash - Kids Halloween Rave for a creepy Halloween experience you'll never forget! 

Suitable for children from eighteen months to seven years old, the event will also provide a bar serving soft drinks for the youngsters and alcoholic beverages for those of age.

Hocus Pocus - Drive-In Cinema screenings

Nightmare in Hednesford

When: Saturday 30th October 2021

Where: The Aquarius in Cannock

Spirits of the underworld and the demons that walk amongst are being summoned to an old and most certainly haunted ballroom venue in a small rural community on the fringes of Staffordshire, England. Set to converge and takeover The Aquarius in Cannock on Saturday 30th October, the first-ever Nightmare in Hednesford monster ball will cast a spell over all those present, with hours of frighteningly good entertainment planned to run until the stroke of midnight on the eve of Halloween.

Rave Kidz - Halloween

When: Sunday 31st October 2021

Where: Riva Showbar in Preston

For those of you out there whose kids are at home on the dancefloor, gather up your raving minors and head to Preston on the spookiest day in the calendar, for a Rave Kidz Halloween special!

Returning to the Northwest of England for an evening of unrestrained fun, the UK's craziest family-friendly rave experience will feature the bounciest, most uplifting and age-appropriate dance music, allowing both you and your kids to throw shapes together. ID is not required.

In addition to a top-notch soundtrack, punters large and small will be encouraged to get involved with Halloween-themed games running over the four-hour party. Born To Be Wild Child Halloween Party w/ The Rockin' Rhinos

Where: Escape To Freight Island in Manchester 

One of Manchester's newest multi-purpose party spaces, Escape To Freight Island, throws open its doors to Halloween revellers of all ages on Saturday 24th October.

Kicking off a spell-binding season of spooky events, the Born To Be Wild Child monster mash will welcome hundreds of mini ghouls, monsters and witches to take part in some of the many games, competitions, craft workshops taking place in the venue throughout the day - from balloon drops to free face painting, colouring murals, temporary tattoos and more. 

Returning for a live performance, popular makers of animal rock music, The Rockin' Rhinos are also confirmed to play two huge sets of spooky floor stompers. Join band members John Cooper Cat, Liam Lion, Guy Gorilla and Debra Zebra as they perform some excellent Rhino renditions of classics from The Ramones, Talking Heads, The Specials and Bowie!

The Sorcerers Apprentice

When: Saturday 30th - Sunday 30th October 2021 (Multiple sessions)

Where: Holker Hall And Gardens in Grange-Over-Sands 

Enjoy an evening of storytelling, mystery and magic with your family in Cumbria this October... The Storytellers presents 'The Sorcerers Apprentice', at Holker Hall and Gardens in Grange Over Sands. 

If your kids are obsessed with the witch and the wizarding world, this is most certainly the right event for them! Become an apprentice of the team of expert Sorcerers and solve other-worldly problems on this Halloween adventure of clue solving, games and more...

The event is recommended for ages three to eight, but that's not to say the experience can't be enjoyed by the adults too!

Tickets are free for children with a paying adult. A special pumpkin trail through the gardens of the stunning victorian estate will also run over Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October.
