One of the most iconic names in electronic music, Skream, comes to Stealth for one of the best Nottingham Halloween parties. Headlining with an extended three-hour set, the legendary DJ/producer is sure to keep ravers dancing until the very end at 10pm, following sets from support. Fancy dress is highly encouraged, and with the show ending at 10pm, you’ve got plenty of time to head to another event, or party, or get a good night’s rest.

Groovebox Halloween | Unit 13

Where: Unit 13 in Nottingham

Nottingham’s Groovebox, perhaps known for Groovebox Festival, offers one of the best Halloween events in Nottingham this year with Richy Ahmed, Darius Syrossian, Adrianna, Nath Brown, and Denno on the decks. After selling out the past two years, we’d recommend snapping your tickets up ASAP to ensure you aren’t left disappointed. Nottingham Halloween Festival

When: Monday 23rd October - Sunday 5th November 2023

Where: Old Market Square in Nottingham

This free Nottingham Halloween event is perfect for families! Crazy creatures will be dotted around on top of buildings like Theatre Royal, Nottingham Castle, and Binks Yard, why not see if you can spot them all? There’ll also be other thrills like chocolate-making and crafts workshops, pumpkin carving, and more. On the 31st, there’ll be live entertainment like the monster mash disco, Batman will be stopping by with his Batmobile, and face painting will be available to those over the age of three. Just the Tonic Comedy Club

When: Saturday 28th October 2023 - shows at 7pm and 9pm 

Where: Just The Tonic At Metronome in Marco Island, Nottingham

Just The Tonic has been booking the world’s best comedy acts for over 25 years now. Vibe Presents Spooky Sessions

Nottingham Secret Garden is about to undergo an eerie transformation, decked out in Halloween decor with skeletons, zombies, and someone dressed like Ken from the Barbie movie jamming to house, deep house, tech house, and minimal bangers.  

Curtis Badder, Menneske, Jacob Frawley, and JENCE will be providing the tunes at Vibe’s debut event at Secret Garden. Fancy dress is encouraged but not essential. But you don’t want to be the only one with a bit of fake blood on your shirt while everyone else gave it their all, do you?

Black Parade - 00's Emo Anthems

When: Friday 27th October 2023

Where: Billy Bootleggers Bar in Nottingham

American-ish bar and venue Billy Bootleggers (formerly Percy Picklebackers) celebrates Halloween with loads of throwback emo bangers. We’re talking FOB, P!ATD, MCR, Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, YMAS, PTV, ADTR, and so much more. If teenaged you ever muttered the words, “It’s not a phase,” wanted snake bite piercings, or could barely see through your fringe, this is easily one of the best Halloween events in Nottingham this year.

Unchained: The Gallows Costume Party

When: Saturday 28th October 2023

Where: Escobar in Nottingham

Half the fun of Halloween is dressing up. Whether you take it really seriously with SFX makeup or dress up as a bottle of ketchup, it’s one of the things we love best about the holiday. Escobar brings a costume party to the people of Nottingham with seven live artists, DJs all night long, and a full costume dress code. From 9pm until 3am, an array of artists will bring house, techno, DnB, and rap tunes so you and your crew can enjoy the best spooky vibes this year.

Halloween workshops hosted by Tiger Community Hub

Where: Tiger Community Hub - 19-21 Lister Gate in Nottingham NG1 7DE

Got some little ones to entertain during this half-term Halloween period? Tiger Community Hub has daily workshops from now until the 3rd of November to get them in the spirit. Most of the workshops are £2.50 each and include a drink for the littluns and tea or coffee for the adults. Workshops include a zombie tea light jars workshop, anime drawing, one for making spooky characters from recycled milk cartons, pumpkin carving (which is £5 to attend), colouring, collage making, and more.

Nottingham Halloween Outdoor Cinema

The UK's biggest outdoor cinema brings iconic horror movies suitable for all ages to Wollaton Hall this Halloween. If you’ve got younguns with you, Hocus Pocus, showing on Sunday, is PG, The Lost Boys on Monday evening is a 15, and finally Scream, on Halloween night, is rated 18.
