You may be aware that we here at Skiddle lost a much-loved member of our team to cancer earlier this month. Since getting diagnosed, Chris Glaba was lovingly cared for by the wonderful people at Macmillan Cancer Support, and so we've committed to raising £100,000 for the charity. We've now been joined by one of Chris's favourite acts to help us realise that goal.

Chris's life was centred around music, and 'Church' by Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell's The 2 Bears was his all time favourite record. After we approached the band, they very kindly agreed to let us promote the track, with all proceeds going to Macmillan from Friday 23rd December onwards.

If we can get enough people behind it, not only would this help raise money for the worthiest of causes, but it could break the charts, maybe even top ten, and get the song he loved so much out to an audience who may never have heard it. Already Bestival, Kendal Calling, Rob da Bank and more have joined the Bears and their label Southern Fried in backing the track.

You can get involved by heading over to Thunderclap and agreeing to share the message on your social media channels on December 23rd, when proceeds from the track (which costs a mere 79p) will begin collecting for the charity. The deadline to do this is Friday 23rd December 10.55am.

Buy the track here from Friday 23rd December.
