Kehakuma can often feel like a brand and club night that's hard to pin down in character, but it is this unique selling point which makes the experience a truly unpredictable and refreshing one.

The Kehakuma team have really gone to town when it comes to satisfying the every need of the Ibiza dweller this year, and are hitting it hard with some astonishing line-ups - and this night was no exception.

A Saturday night of two very contrasting but highly respected parties under one roof at the infamous Space Ibiza. It was a satisfying journey for the multi-dimensional music lovers.

On one hand, the playful and vibrant antics that we’ve come to love and expect from Barcelona’s Elrow were there for all to enjoy, and on the other side, the dark, sinister vibes were showcased by German techno giants Kompakt Records.

Elrow took to the Discoteca celebrating their 4th anniversary with an incredulous party that engulfed the main room all night long in an explosion of colour and vibrant sounds.

Kicking off the fun was Mario Biani and Toni Varga - two veterans of the Elrow scene, who began with a groove-filled, sensual vibe that set the frivolously decorated main room alight.

Meanwhile, in what can only be described as a heavy contrast of colour and aesthetics to the Discoteca, the menacing all-star line-up from Kompakt began their usual march in a moody, dimly lit and minimalistic Terraza.

Up first, the wizard that is Roman Flugel brought a range of highly diverse vibes to the Terraza, drifting as he does so effortlessly, between ambience, techno and IDM, fuzzing them together to create a spiritual experience for the eardrum. Pachanga Boys soon followed, taking the bull by the horns and thrusting the crowd into a mind bending trance-like state.

Their set making sporadic but excellently calculated changes in pace and tone, as precarious noises erupted shaking the listener back for a moment into reality, before making them fall back into abstraction. It was a real memorable and thought-provoking showcase of decorative sounds from the highly underrated duo.

As the night wore on, the fun and games gained momentum in the Discoteca, as the one and only Seth Troxler tore up the main room. The room was a riot of confetti, costumes, inflatables, boats, dancers and flashing flamboyant pink glowing under yellow lights.

Troxler dropped Adam Beyer’s new incredible piece 'Stone Flower' (listen below) as he ignited the crowd, somehow helping them edge up another gear.

The don, the head honcho the main man, Michael Mayer then took to the Terraza, showcasing some of Kompakt’s finest recordings and showing the world exactly why Kompakt is such an esteemed and revered label.

Revellers were treated to an aural extravaganza that was further enriched by the introduction of Kompakt’s special guest, Seth Troxler, who embodied his alter-ego for a darker contrast to his main room antics.

Mayer and Troxler hit it back to back as Troxler, fresh from the exuberance of the Elrow performance, showed the crowd why he is one of the best and most diverse DJ’s in the world, lowering the tone and the vibe into the darkness of the early hours.

Contrastingly De La Swing cooked the fevering crowd in the main room, making sensual waves deep into the Sunday morning.

Kehakuma hit the nail on the head by bringing two incredibly diverse, but well respected establishments together for a joyous occasion in one of the world's most respected electronic music venues, hats off to them.
