Reading and Leeds Festival 2017 unveil Alternative Stage line up

The likes of Simon Amstell, Katherine Ryan, Sean Walsh and more join the bill at the sister festivals.

Reading Festival and Leeds Festival have unveiled the comedians that will be bringing the laughs to the Alternative Stage at the sister festivals this year.

Heading up the announcement are the likes of Never Mind The Buzzcocks host Simon Amstell, who hits the festivals ahead of his What Is This? tour in September, as well as musical virtuoso Bill Bailey and the razor witted Katherine Ryan.

Other names added to the comedy line up include Sean Walsh, Josie Long, Jonathan Pie, and Joe Lycett,while the likes of Neck Deep, Sigrid, The View, Fekky, PINS and more join the musical billing.

The full Reading and Leeds Festival line up includes headliners Muse, Kasabian and Eminem, while a heap of other big name acts including Liam Gallagher, Glass Animals, Korn, Haim, Giggs and Major Lazer also feature.
