New York style restaurant and bar has opened in Liverpool

Across two floors, Steel & Slater will be offering lunch, dinner, and drinks upstairs. Opened by the Open Restaurant Group, the menu offers a range of handmade pasta, grilled meat, seafood and desserts.

Browse through generous plates of pasta like ‘garlic & chilli tagliatelle’, ‘lobster lasagna ’, while grilled meat options are ‘wagyu ribeye for 2’ and ‘pork tomahawk’. 

Meanwhile, downstairs is an intimate bar and lounge with small plates to share, inspired by Manhattan. The bar will serve white, red, orange and rosé wine alongside spirits and cocktails.

Their cocktails are served under ‘Italian classics’ and ‘New Yorkers’. The former offers cocktails like ‘Limoncello Martini’, ‘Garibaldi’ and ‘Americano ’, while the latter serves ‘Tom Collins’, ‘Bronx’ and ‘Dirty Shirley’. 

Steel & Slater will also be hosting events throughout the year, with live music and DJs. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8 am to 11 pm. The bar will be open from 5 pm to 11 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
