Liverpool’s On The Waterfront reveals all 2026 headliners

Liverpool’s On The Waterfront returns to Pier Head for a long weekend packed with music in June 2026, and they’ve just announced Paul Weller, Red Rum Club, and Cream Classical will be joining Snow Patrol as headliners. 

Lighting up the city once again with fantastic live music against the backdrop of the River Mersey and the Three Graces, On The Waterfront continues to sit at the forefront of the UK’s festival scene, offering global icons and local homegrown talent. 

Thursday 18th June will be led by The Modfather himself, Paul Weller. The former frontman and principal songwriter of The Jam, known for solo tracks like ‘You Do Something To Me’ and ‘Wild Wood’, released a new album, Find El Dorado, in July last year, meaning he’s got some new material to showcase. He’ll be joined by Miles Kane and Arkayla.

Next up on Friday 19th June is Red Rum Club. The alt-rock Merseyside band dropped their newest album BUCK in September last year, adding more leather jacket rock and roll to their discography. Boasting lively, catchy tracks in their arsenal like ‘Would You Rather Be Lonely’, ‘Vanilla’, and ‘Eleanor’, the local heroes step up for their biggest outdoor show to date. If you aren’t already familiar with their “Mariachi Merseybeat” sound, get ready to fall in love. They'll be joined by Only The Poets, The Lilacs, Keyside, The Kairos, and The Kowloons.

On Saturday 20th June, legendary house act K-Klass steps up to curate Cream Classical, which reimagines and redefines what dance music can be. Going for over a decade now, Cream Classical has gone all across the UK, uniting all generations of dance music fans on the same dancefloor. From those who were there in the ‘90s up to the new generation, the experience delivers euphoric renditions of some of the biggest tracks in dance. Performing with the orchestra are Alison Limerick, Robin S, Julie McKnight, Saffron, Bobbi Depasois (of K-Klass), Todd Terry, Chicane, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, and more.

These three new announcements join the previously announced Snow Patrol. Hitting the stage on Sunday 21st June for their first performance in the city for 12 years, the ‘Chasing Cars’ and ‘Run’ icons will close out the festival with a huge bang. Joined by Liverpool's own Circa Waves, Sunday (1994), and more, it’s set to be one of the biggest events in Liverpool’s calendar next year.
