But now the time has come. It’s time to finally make your decision and snag some tickets before everything completely sells out and you’re stuck doing nothing on New Year’s Eve. We don’t want a repeat of last year. So here are some Birmingham New Year’s Eve events that are just too good to miss…



New Year’s Eve at Hare and Hounds

Where: Hare and Hounds, Birmingham


Indie or funk? 80s pop or soul? Choosing is hard. We shouldn’t have to pick. And at Hare and Hounds, you don’t have to. With three rooms blasting 90s and 00s indie, Britpop, 80s pop, club classics, new wave, disco, funk and soul, there’ll be tunes that you love playing all night long. The legendary venue is known for its amazing atmosphere and lively shows. And with tickets for just £15, we’re certain it’ll be a cracking night full of other open-minded music lovers.

Dancing Through The Decades

Where: Bilston Sports and Social Club, Bilston  


See in the new year by revisiting the past. Dancing Through The Decades reminds you of all the songs we’ve known and loved through the years starting from the 70s going all the way up to the noughties and beyond. Throw it back at this cheap and cheerful exploration of the greatest music each decade had to offer in a venue with friendly staff,

NYE 2021 w/ Chloé Robinson, Nia Archives, LCY

Where: Forum, Birmingham


Music has always been male-dominated but Forum is here to shake things up a bit with an all-female/nonbinary lineup of super talented DJs blasting tunes ‘til 4 am. Chloe Robinson, previously known as Barely Legal, spins a variety of genres including grime, techno, house, garage and bass. Nia Archives will also take to the stage playing hip hop, drum and bass, jungle, house, and soul. And that’s just the start of it. Get out there and support our women and enby DJs this NYE.

A Weird & Wonderful NYE

Where: The Mill Digbeth, Birmingham


Not many tickets are left for the Midlands biggest bass music NYE party. With plenty of artists performing including A.M.C, Bou, DJ Hazard, DJ Zinc B2B Sammy Virji, S.P.Y, and many more as well as MC’s for an unforgettable night of straight tunes and great vibes. Raveology 'Don't Forget' NYE

Where: The Tunnel Club, Birmingham


For an absolutely massive lineup of 60 artists, check out The Tunnel Club. Artists include five-time award-winning DJ and producer Guv, Hedex, Wilko, Filthy Habits, Standard Procedure, Latte, V Dubz to fill your night with drum n bass, jungle and more across seven rooms. What better way to spend the last day of the year than in Birmingham’s liveliest underground rave venue with the craziest lighting? If that wasn’t enough, the party stays jumping until 6 am so you won’t have to deal with the disappointing feeling of a party that ended right when it started to get good.

NYE Carnival - Año Nuevo

Where: NYE Carnival - Año Nuevo, Revolucion de Cuba


Party hard at Revolucion de Cuba’s massive Cuban style fiesta. The bar's very own live band will be performing your favourite tunes until late as well as DJs complimented by samba dancers performing below falling confetti. Sip on a marmalade mai tai and the fiesta of the year unfolds with the best live entertainment. Dining and drinks packages are also available to take your night from good to great. Black-owned nightclub PST will be throwing a rave to remember starting at 8 pm and lasting until the early hours for all nations and generations. Across two rooms will be DnB, jungle, jump up, RnB, dancehall, UK garage, hip hop, and bashment tunes. Picture sick tunes spun by Startah, N9ne, DJ Higher Sector, Tension, Benny Colab, Smokes, Kingpin, Bobby Noodlez, Love Tonic, C4 Vibes, Butty and so many more. Levana New Year's Eve

Where: Levana Bar, Birmingham


Keeping it simple this year is Levana Bar who will just be doing what they do best. As usual, their resident DJs will be spinning a variety of tunes including old school RnB, hip hop, rap and bashment tracks for the best vibes in the city. With DJs who know how to get a party started, a great atmosphere, cocktails for days, and fantastic RnB, hip hop, and pop tunes, what more could you want?

NYE at Hockley Social Club

Where: Hockley Social Club, Birmingham


For the first time, Hockley Social Club will be hosting a 14, yes 14, hour-long New Year’s Eve party. If you think you can handle it, get down for live music, booming DJs, delicious food, three bars, and the loudest midnight countdown in the midlands. The day is split into two sessions with the first running from 12-6 pm and the second from 7-2 am. If that wasn’t enough, the venue is dog friendly until 10 pm. We’re sure there’s probably something in the world that tops cuddling dogs a few drinks in with tunes blaring but, if there is, we’ve yet to hear about it.

Magic Door New Year’s Eve

Where: Lab11, Birmingham 


Clubbing titans Lab11 are throwing a glitz and glam New Year’s Eve party in their widely-adored club. And they’re inviting you to join them following the theme gold and glittery for a luxurious NYE blowout. As usual, guests can expect secret guest DJs as well as regular disc jockeys, insane production, and deep house, techno, house, and disco vibrating through your skeleton until 4 am. Their parties are popular so if you see some tickets left, grab them quickly!
