Jacaranda to open new venue with huge artists already booked to play

After 65 years on Slater Street, Liverpool’s iconic Jacaranda Records brings us a new venue - Jacaranda Baltic, a record store and 400-capacity performance space - in the Baltic Triangle. 

Located inside Cain’s Brewery, the record store will be home to a curated mix of local and international artist’s new releases as well as all those classic albums you’d expect to find. The performance area of the venue is Jacaranda’s largest and most ambitious yet with a range of huge artists set to play there over the next few months including Shed Seven, Tom Odell, Dizzee Rascal, Red Rum Club, and Everything Everything. The go-to places for vinyl in Liverpool, Jacaranda Baltic’s record shop will be open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm, while the shop at The Jacaranda stays open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm. 

With Jacaranda being a legendary staple of Liverpool’s music scene since the 50s - The Beatles even played their first show there together under that name in 1960 - it’s fantastic to see the brand thriving and adding to the Baltic Triangle’s expanding music scene following the recent additions of music venue Content and record shop Matsuri Records being launched too. 

The Jacaranda Baltic record store is set to open its doors for the first time on Friday 12th January at 10am with a special gift for the first few customers.
