Twenty years since it closed, The Haçienda still remains one of the biggest and most iconic names within the dance music scene today, having famously shaped and significantly influenced UK dance and rave culture.

Household names such as Manchester's own Happy Mondays, The Smiths and The Stone Roses have once graced the Dj booth of this historic venue, as well as pop siren Madonna

Two of the most pivotal residents who shaped the sound of the Haçienda - Mike Pickering and Greame Park - collaborate with Manchester's world-class experimental Camerta Orchestra for a unique night of dance classics adapted to be performed with classical instruments (watch the video of Park explaining the concept below).

Following the success and critical acclaim of last year's tour, they return for a second year to collide the very different world's of dance music and classical music to venues across the UK.

After announcing and completely selling out dates in Manchester's Castlefield Bowl and London's Royal Albert Hall, the Haçienda Classical comes to Newcastle's Times Square and Glasgow's SSE Hydro in 2017, for what promises to be an exquisite evening of a collision of genres, secure Hacienda tickets via the link below.
