Festival season is rapidly approaching, and it’s about time. It feels like it’s been so long since we raved in a field that we’re almost excited to lose our tents and feel the hangover of the century afterwards. But most of all, we can't wait to check out some killer live acts.

And now that Highest Point has revealed its full lineup (check out the Highest Point lineup here), we can really start getting excited about who’s playing. With indie, rock, disco, house, and drum and bass royalty all over the lineup, there aren’t many acts on the lineup we don’t want to see, but here are the top five we narrowed it down to…

Emily Nash

(This embedded post has since been removed)

We’ve got some high hopes for Emily Nash after she released her brilliant debut single The Garden with the iconic Ministry of Sound. The slightly eerie but groovy track was BBC Radio One’s hottest record in the world, and it’s clear to see why. With a bucket load of talent, some great tunes under her belt, and after opening for FISHER at Creamfields last year, we’re sure her set will be killer.

Kaiser Chiefs

No matter what kind of music floats your boat, there’s no denying that every festival should have an act that’ll provide anthems that are impossible not to sing along to. And with belters like Ruby, I Predict A Riot, and Everyday I Love You Less And Less, that’s exactly what Kaiser Chiefs will deliver. Hailing from Leeds, we can’t wait to see what Kaiser Chiefs pull out the bag for their headline slot alongside Clean Bandit and Richard Ashcroft

Clean Bandit

Another great act to sing along to, Clean Bandit have multiple certified bangers to their name that we can’t wait to see a field full of people sing along to. With massive euphoric tunes such as Symphony, Rockabye, and Rather Be, we’re certain the whole crowd will have their arms in the air, absorbing these sunny anthems. Let’s just hope the sky is equally sunny!

Shy FX

Jungle and drum and bass icon Shy FX will no doubt put on a show to remember. And if he gets the crowd half as hyped as he did at the festival in the video, the atmosphere will be unreal. Shy’s music has set clubs and festivals alight, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to Highest Point

Basement Jaxx

With countless groovy tunes that you can’t not dance along to, Basement Jaxx’s DJ set will no doubt be a highlight of the festival. Where's Your Head At, Romeo, Red Alert, and Good Luck are just a few of the tunes the duo have penned that have that feel-good, perfect-for-a-summer festival vibe that deserves a lively crowd, warm weather, and a cold pint to compliment it.

The Highest Point lineup is packed with music veterans and rapidly rising stars, so choosing this list wasn't easy. Whether you’re a fan of indie rock bangers or prefer a long DJ set perfect for dancing your troubles away, there are plenty of artists on the lineup to give you the weekend of your dreams. So, the fact is, we’re excited to check them all out.

Tickets are flying away, so secure your Highest Point tickets now to experience this killer lineup in person. Or check out the Highest Point Festival lineup in full here.
