DJ Carl Cox to perform huge live show on Brighton Beach this July

The godfather of dance music, veteran turntablist and selector extraordinaire, Carl Cox is set to make his long-overdue return to Brighton this summer, performing a massive headline set to mark the 21st birthday of legendary Brighton music venue, Concorde 2

Taking place on Friday 23rd July 2021, the all-day dance event on Brighton Beach will see the DJ phenomenon spinning some of his most lauded anthems and remixes - from 2017's 'I Want You (Forever)' to his reworking of Ninetoes 'Finder' and more - alongside local up and comer, Kieran Bradley

Cox, who is widely renowned as one of the most significant artists in the British house music scene, played a pivotal role in bringing new sounds and genres of music to the UK, back in the late '80s and early '90s - from Chicago house to rare groove, electro, hip-hop and more.

An early ambassador of the rave scene here in Britain, the now 58-year-old DJ first made a name for himself performing on the opening night of dance pioneer, Danny Rampling's fabled Shoom club night. The rest is history, as they say...

He's since conquered Ibiza, taking residency's at more or less every club across the White Isles, where he is still a regular feature each season, curated music on behalf of BBC Radio 1 on the Essential Mix Show, launched his own successful music management company and record label 'Intec Digital', home to the likes of Robert Babicz, Yousef, Tomy DeClerque and Nicole Moudaber to name a few.
