everyone was really friendly and I have a great time networking during the mixer.

Really awesome event! It was lovely networking with people and listening to some amazing talks. The speed networking was the best bit for me, I wish that it lasted longer and was a bit more organised so that it was clear what to do and how to do it.

I attended the R&B Brunch at the Bierkeller 2 years ago for my birthday, and it was an amazing event, but this NYE event was an absolute letdown. The event was held in a different side room, which had no atmosphere. To my dismay, looking through the window, I could see another event happening in the original room where people looked to be having a brilliant time. The music of choice was pretty commercial R&B, which was required to suit the majority of the audience. It was clear that there were many younger people in the room that probably couldn't appreciate the more old school R&B. I also feel the term Brunch is associated with food and drink, which neither was provided. I am aware food is not included, but maybe the word Brunch is misleading to what is really just an event in a bar. I am pretty disappointed that this has put me off booking this event in the future.
