Lee Burridge: Extended Set | Joshua Brooks Manchester

Lee Burridge returns to Joshua Brooks on Friday 18 December. A year on from his last visit, Free From Sleep bring him back to the newly refurbished basement under the arches on Princess Street for one extended set, 11pm till 4am.

Few DJs have a résumé like his. He played his first gig in Dorset in 1983, found acid house at The Palace in Somerset in 1987, and in 1991 moved to Hong Kong, where he helped establish Neptune's. Back in the UK he formed Tyrant with Sasha and Craig Richards, and with Craig mixed No Shoes, No Cake for fabric in 2002. Global Underground and Balance releases followed, along with two BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes.

In 2011 a rooftop party in Brooklyn became All Day I Dream, the daytime party that now tours the world. He has been a Burning Man regular for years.

An extended set is how his music is meant to be heard. One DJ, the whole room, the whole night.
