Review of Country & Western Over 30's Clubbing Daytime Event

DJ was dreadful - hardly played any country music and walked out half way through the afternoon when I guest told him that he needed to change the music.  As a result, most people left the event and went to a local country bar.  You really should think about refunding guests as this was definitely not as advertised (as well as the DJ where was the food and bucking broncho)

So where do I start!!! There was no bull as advertised, no hot dogs as advertised, the DJ played shocking music that wasn't even country and western and then decided to p@#€ off and go home leaving no music playing at all!!! The security guys had to jump on decks and put a playlist on!!!! Total waste of £29 WILL NOT BE RETURNING THATS FOR SURE!!!! Many unhappy customers that day!!!

Started positively but was very disappointing overall. The event needed more actual country and western music. The DJ left halfway through the event, which brought proceedings to a premature end. The rest of the staff, including the dancers, were professional and did their best. However, it certainly wasn't as advertised.

I booked this early bird with high hopes. Advertised as Country with a Rodeo Bull and light snacks such as Hot Dogs included.  There was no Rodeo Bull and No snacks. No explaination as to why and no one to discuss this with. It wasn't fair to take it out on the 2 young ladies behind the bar. Atmosphere was okay however DJ just kept deviating from country and 2 hours into the 5 hour event, literally walked out leaving us all with no music!! Because we dared ask him to play country music. 

At least I would wish for a refund of the ticket price (3 tickets) however add up the money spent on insanely overpriced drinks and taxis - I wouldnt book a Skiddle event again if they were free! Huge disappointment - and I imagine there will be quite a few similar reviews as there were a lot of disgruntled missold customers this weekend!

Disappointing! The event was suppose to be C&W event. A lot of the music could only loosely be described as C&W The DJ walked out half way through the event (we were told it was because he had been asked to play more C&W). Although it started promisingly enough with people determined to enjoy themselves. The lack of a DJ created a premature ending to the event. Also the advertised rodeo bull was nowhere to be seen. Thanks to the 2 dancers who carried on to the bitter end, still smiling.  It would have been  good value for money if all had to plan.
