Stephen Grindrod takes to the stage with his RDZ project. Post trip-hop and occasional four to the floor beat dynamics, from producer JT, present a deep rhythmic backdrop for Grindrod’s Rochdalian take on Gil Scott-Heronesque streams of consciousness which muse upon our dreams of utopia.

For fans of word-jams, dusty hip-hop beats, stripped-back kick thumpers and rhythmic groove workouts.

AMWG

Snare-perfect drum and bass patterns from Measured Lag favourite, AMWG. Burial style bass substrates loiter menacingly whilst classic junglism frolics atop with frequent relishes of synth ambience. Not just a revivalist exercise, AMWG brings a fresh perspective to the journey, with a slightly gritty edge that should engage both minds and dancing shoes alike.
