Review of Melting Pot X Riverside Museum Halloween
The bar only had one choice of beer, as they were serving cans they should at least have had two choices…. Only negative thing to say about the night. Everything else was fabulous

The wait time at the bar was over an hour when we left at 10pm because we couldn’t get a drink. The DJ played le freak twice within 15 minutes ?! I was so excited to enjoy this night ! I’ve been before and it was great ! What a let down so disappointed!

The venue is so cool and has so much potential but was let down by the music. The event description was misleading as it said there would be 2 dj’s across 2 floors however this was not the case.

Review of Melting Pot X Riverside Museum Halloween
We started with disco and ended up with basically only bass by 10pm and the DJ that was playing actual good disco was shoved in a corner with three tables and behind the queue for the bar. Don’t know if organisers know what drag performance means but four people dancing on a tiny stage with lightbulbs on them is not a performance. Loved their energy but it ain’t no performance, and certainly not drag. Really disappointed with the lack of effort and the misleading advertisement.

Review of Melting Pot X Riverside Museum Halloween
(I was only in the downstairs section so cant comment on upstairs) The downstairs set up was a bit weird with everyone having to congregate in the one bit for music. I thought there would have been music, dancers and halloween stuff all the way throughout the museum. There was only one bar and the queues were long and the drinks were quite pricey. My friends and I ended up leaving early as we found it pretty boring and it didn’t live up to what we thought we were going to experience for the price we paid. Nice thought to do it within the museum around the cars etc but felt like it could have been better.

Review of Melting Pot X Riverside Museum Halloween
Considering the price of the entry ticket, drink prices were insanely expensive with a double being £13 and less than a pint costing £6.50. Was really looking forward to the venue which was cool but it was really bright with all the lights on along with it feeling quite empty given the size of the space. Was a good enough night but felt far too overpriced and I don’t think I’d go back.

One bar for the whole venue was ridiculous, queued for over an hour at one point.
Thought they might have changed it since last year in regards to how bright it was and how some areas you couldn’t hear any music, but it was worse.
Won’t be back.
