Great day, great weather and great bands. Plenty of space plenty of toilets and prices are good also especially 2 for 1 between 12pm and 2pm. Sound system was great also

Review of 80s Calling! Darlington w/ The Human League, Bananarama & more!

I felt not much atmosphere due to not hearing music in-between acts , security very poor , drinks expensive and ran out very early on

fantastic event at Darlington for the 80's festival

The venue opened at 12 and was on until 10.30 ish the venue ran out of beer at about 4!disgracefull

Really great night and Tony Hadley, Bananarama and Human League were, for me, the standout acts although all acts were in fine voice and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. However, we missed all but the last few bars of China In Your Hands because we hadn't booked parking at the arena (we arrived 15 minutes before T' Pau were due to start). We were turned away, as were lots of people, but we'd not received an email saying we had to book. Had to find a car park over a mile away (permit parking only on local streets) and get an Uber so that we wouldn't be too late. Not happy as apparently it was Skiddle who should have emailed to tell us (according to the car park security guards). When we left (during the final song), the car park was practically empty 😡

well organised, good sound and lighting, minimal queues at the bar
