Escapade is THE place to be to enjoy a great night out! Situated on Gladstone Street, we are just a short walk from the town centre. Escapade is a stunning nightclub with a 1500 capacity. We offer a great night out for everyone with 3 rooms playing a huge range of great music - there's something to suit everyone! Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays we are the place to be!
Admission Policies
Escapade will not admit customers who it is believed are intoxicated, under age, do not meet the clubs dress code, or are known trouble makers. The decision to admit or not is taken by the clubs Management and door staff and is final. Please respect this decision if you are in one of the above categories. Being abusive or making a nuisance of yourself will not cause the staff involved to change their minds. Abusive or threatening customers will be brought to the attention of Police via the town centre CCTV System. Thank you to all our customers for your cooperation in these matters.
Dress Code
We are a nightclub so we expect our customers to make an effort. Smart casual – no sportswear, hoodies or sports trainers. You will be asked to remove your coat once inside, leaving in our cloakroom.
Age & Acceptable Identification
Escapade is a licensed premises and as such all customers must be 18 years of age or older. We will ask ALL customers male and female to prove their age if they appear to look under 21.
Escapade accepts ONLY the following forms of ID:
FULL TEN YEAR PASSPORT
PHOTO STYLE UK DRIVING LICENCE
PORTMAN GROUP PROVE IT CARD
CONEXXIONS CARD
VALIDATE CARD
The forms of ID listed above will NOT accepted if they have been defaced or altered in anyway. Where a customer is asked for ID and cannot provide it, they will not be admitted until they have produced one of the above accepted forms of ID.
