Review of Leamington Spa Gay Speed Dating | Ages 24-40

Absolutely awful event! Would not recommend to anyone. We're promised  cocktails created to perfection, not true at all. Only 2 cocktails to choose from which were both awful and could not taste any alcohol in them. The "hors d'oeuvres" were a selection of Iceland party food that was placed on a ledge between people's tables so couldn't even get to it. Music was rubbish and was ruined by a saxophonist playing along, not really sure why. No atmosphere either. We left after an hour waste of money! If you want a good night out then don't bother!

Music was good but the cocktails were awful, sugary and weak, plus we were given a plastic cup that you had to keep all night because they didn't have enough glasses! Music was great but not worth the nearly £30 ticket price!

When first arriving the venue looked nice and the hart and co staff were lovely, however although 'cocktails' were advertised there was actually only 2 on offer? Also the ' hor d'oeuvres' were scattered around left to go cold and not very well pointed out to the guests. The lights were kept on the entire time which ruined the atmosphere as it was too bright and too warm and gave the impression of 'last orders' from the start, the staff ran out of cocktails at 9:30 which also gave the impression it was on purpose to encourage guests to buy drinks even though the ticket was for all inclusive drinks. Overall these issues lead to the event being quite dead 1 hour and 30 minutes in as everyone else seemed to recognise these issues and left accordingly.

Better off getting the normal brunch, you can select the drinks you want and eat decent food. Unlike this event having two drink options.

Cocktails were far too sickly on 2 choices and given a plastic cup for drinks. Constants ques to get a drink. Didn't know the event had even started as the atmosphere was so poor. Food was placed on the back of a wall between tables that were in use were close to girls hair with no plates to use. Staff were friendly but run raged. Music wasn't as described. I wouldn't recommend this event to anyone put a dampener on the rest of the night. Waste of money!

Not enough people attended if honest … 7 ladies and 5 blokes .. just not enough … but nice host bless her.

Unfortunately there were only 4 dates so have another free event but it was rather disappointing as I had to organise a lot to be there

On table 1, it's a little dicey as there's downward steps just behind one of the chairs, and if your not aware one shuffle backwards would end in complete disaster!
The quieter the music, while still some music, the better in my opinion. It's at a decent level atm but I notice the bar is getting busier each time so could soon get too noisy. 
Overall, it's a very good speeddating night though!
