Review of The Kut
Absolutely fantastic evening in Brighton. I've been to the Green Door Store several times before over the last couple of months, and din't think the stage would be big enough for the Bad Man stage invasion, but we managed to get 7 of us up there, plus the 3 girls......it was fantastic.
The performance was flawless as ever, and great to hear 2 new songs with Jayke joining them on stage for Mind Games. Diana the drummer works so damn hard and is amazing with those sticks. Stella the bassist was amazing with the backing vocals too, and throwing some great shapes. Maha, well, what can I say, so much talent. Great to see her standing on the bass drum during Bad Man, then coming down on to the floor playing through the crowd. What a performance. Not just the music, or the vocals, but the choreography too usually goes un-noticed, but it all adds up.
Great support acts too. First time I have seen SONs play, and really enjoyed it.
I can't wait for the next Kut show, but not sure when I'll be going, but will def be at Camden.
