Review of DanceOnArrival: Brighton Easter Sunday Special
The whole night was a shambles from start to finish. Every staff member in there seemed like they had been hired off the street for that night. They had totally over subscribed the venue making the atmosphere totally unenjoyable. The club was absolutely filthy. They had the bright idea to put local Brighton DJs on a set in the toilets. In theory this is a good idea but was so poorly executed as none of the toilets locked, there was one toilet (unisex) which shouldn't be an issue but the lack of cubicles for the amount of people in the venue made it hell on earth. Tensor cubicles didn't lock. The bouncers were unnecessarily up in everyone's business. The bar staff didn't know how to make a simple drink. Last but not least the cloakroom system was appalling, they had new iPads which you type in your phone number to. They then iMessage you a code which is the number allocated to your jacket. These girls got it SO wrong that when we went to collect our coats they kept coming back with a different coat (even tho they had a clear number given to them first time round) luckily me and my friends got our coats second time lucky. How hard is it to allocate a jacket to a number and then return that jacket once receiving the allocated number. It's a service they're providing and it is the easiest method int he works. My boyfriends jacket was given away to someone else as these girls had no idea what they were doing. Eventually he got redeploy annoyed but the girls took it as threatening and called security. So I had to jump the barriers into the cloakroom and demand to rummage the whole room until I had ensured the jacket was definitely not there. They had a whole pile of miscellaneous coats on a sofa with no numbers. It was an absolute joke and they probs gave away about 50 jackets to the wrong people. Now waiting to be reimbursed by the club for their mistake. Nightmare form start to finish.

poorly organised. too packed. cloakroom was a mess. dj in the bathroom made it so confusing to cue up. so unenjoyable. made max dean look so bad. could've been a good event if it was planned well
