GASWRX Opening. ARMAND VAN HELDEN/LOW STEPPA/DANNY HOWARD/PRUNK

GASWRX Birmingham officially opens on Saturday 12 September 2026 with a huge full-venue indoor festival.

Headlined by one of the most influential names in dance music, Armand Van Helden has soundtracked generations of club culture with era-defining records including You Don’t Know Me, My My My and I Want Your Soul. For the official launch of GASWRX, he heads to Birmingham for a major headline performance inside the city’s newest destination for music, culture and large-scale events.

Across the Main Room, ARMAND VAN HELDEN will be joined by BBC Radio 1’s DANNY HOWARD, Birmingham house heavyweight LOW STEPPA, Dutch house favourite PRUNK, RUE JAY and JULES VIC.

The Basement adds a second room of underground house and tech house featuring WHEATS, OZZIE GUVEN, ELLIA JAYA, MURPHYS LAW and some of Birminghams finest local artists.

Expect a full-venue opening festival across two rooms, with street food, performers, world-class sound and full warehouse production throughout the venue.

Set inside a striking historic industrial space, GASWRX has been created to host major artists, international brands, live shows, club events and unforgettable cultural moments in the heart of Birmingham.

This is more than an opening party. It is the first chapter for a new venue and a new era of events in the city.
