On Saturday 8th November 2025, Campfield and GRUB will be pairing up to open a new weekly market experience in Manchester’s St. John’s neighbourhood. Every Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm, the historic Campfield campus will transform into a large-scale city market celebrating independent food, drink and retail, which will spread across all three Campfield buildings.

The new Campfield Market is set to be three times larger than the Weekender events that took place in the summer, which drew thousands of visitors and glowing reviews from both traders and the local community.

Featuring Manchester’s first Euro-style food hall, which will have Estrella Galicia, a European wine bar and 12 high-quality food stalls serving oysters, tapas, sourdough, cheese, sushi and charcuterie, in Campfield Studios. And dumplings, pizza, bratwurst, paella, poke bowls and coffee, alongside an outdoor produce market complete with a greengrocer, butcher and fishmonger, which will be in Castlefield House, acting as a social house.

GRUB’s Director, Jason Bailey, spoke about the launch, saying, "GRUB is back in Manchester city centre with Campfield Market, a weekly prestige market experience that’s three times bigger than anything we’ve done before. Manchester has been crying out for a proper market experience, and we hope the city can get behind this ambitious new destination in the most amazing location."
