A staple of London's Borough Market, Bread Ahead, is coming to Manchester.

From Monday 3rd November, the bakery will have a pop-up inside Harvey Nichols for three months. To celebrate, they’ll be handing out 1,000 free doughnuts from 10am on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th - while they last.

Known for their signature classics and seasonal favourites like their Pumpkin Crème Brûlée and S’mores, pain au chocolat and croissant, but also savoury snacks like focaccia and brioche buns, Bread Ahead has long had customers queuing for their treats in London.

Coming to the north for the first time, much to the delight of many of their cult followers, Manchester foodies are about to discover its famous Crème Brûlée doughnut, of which they sell around 5,000 per day from its London home.

Bread Ahead started in 2013, going from a single market stall with just three products to one of the country's best-loved bakeries with baking schools, cookbooks, and its unwavering cult following.

Find Bread Ahead at Harvey Nichols, 21 New Cathedral Street, M1 1AD from Monday 3rd November to January 2026.
