Later this year, Craft beer pioneer brand, The Steam Head, will be heading to the edge of the Northern Quarter, Manchester, to take over what was previously home to the Lamb of Tartary gastropub. This expansion will be the brand's 16th location nationwide, and its first new opening since its Leeds venue in 2019.

The new 2,800 sq ft venue will hold 180 guests, and seat 120 punters with the intention to show off the brand’s trademark industrial character, with a mix of Manchester's Northern charm. However, The Steam Head is no stranger to serving Manchester some quality pints, with their popular location in Didsbury, which opened in 2018.

The new drinking location will feature 30 lines serving 24 kegs and six cask brews, all of which are expertly selected beers from the UK craft scene, alongside a rotating selection of cans and bottles. There will also be a fresh cocktail menu and quality spirits range that'll have you popping in for those refreshing after-work drinks.

Plus, with augmented reality darts, live sports across six screens, and a dedicated pop-up kitchen from a local operator, this is going to be a 10/10 upcoming spot.
