Whilst I'm still basking in the sunshine, I'm extremely excited that the changing colours of the leaves is ushering in my favourite time of the year - rave season.

This Weekend

Sankeys Manchester opens it doors with Tribal Sessions rightly at the helm as the weekly centrepiece on Friday - check our podcast featuring a Darius Syrossian guestmix (below). Less Effect have French Fries on down the road in Liverpool (we spoke to him), the Blu Club tour begins in Edinburgh on Friday, with Audio turning ten with Ame down in Brighton.

The Capital is of course bursting with options too, with a fantastic Solid Steel showcase at the Prince of Wales on Friday, Ministry of Sound boasting Sigma at the helm one day later, and the United Festival a rip roaring ensemble of dance music on Sunday - who needs a day of rest?

Coming Up

Big news from Blackpool Rocks this week about their relocation to Blackpool Tower, whilst equally huge is the DJMag Top 100 parties (London tickets available now, Manchester open for pre sale). Electric Brixton has Booka Shade and Cast to look forward to, whilst on the topic of live music, Katy B announced Becky Hill as support for her upcoming shows and the NME New Breed Tour celebrates the stars of tomorrow.

G House fans will rejoice at Amine Edge & Dance revealing they're off to Leeds in October, with the city also looking forward to a full set of events from The Warehouse. Liverpool's Abandon Silence announced their latest show, and with Tiga due to play all night in London for Mixmag on the 20th September we caught up with him for an essential interview. Equally great is this mix from Cottam ahead of the SSW4 Weekender (above).

That's pretty much all we've got time for this week rave kids, I'm off to listen to a playlist which might have been named after me and panic about my new sci-fi watch. Catch you on the flipside.
